About the project

FORTIC is an Interreg Italy-Croatia project dedicated to the digital preservation and promotion of fortified heritage along the Adriatic coast.

The platform offers an immersive 3D experience that allows users to explore historic coastal fortresses virtually. By combining photogrammetric scanning, interactive cartography, and archival research, FORTIC creates a cross-border digital archive accessible to researchers, institutions, and the general public. The project bridges Italian and Croatian heritage communities through shared cultural narratives.
